On September 21, First National Bank is launching a new digital banking platform for Internet and Mobile Banking. This upgrade will offer a more intuitive, secure, and powerful way to manage your finances.

Longer Transaction and Statement History

  • 24 months of transactions and account statements available for view & download

Enhanced Security and Access

  • Multi-layer security with one-time passcodes and 24/7 access now included for business users
  • Send secure messages directly to the bank
  • Personal Banking card controls now available in Internet Banking

Convenient Payments & Transfers

  • Continue to transfer funds between accounts, pay bills, and schedule recurring payments, but now Personal Internet Banking users will also have access to send money with Zelle®! With Zelle®, you can send money directly from your account to enrolled recipients in minutes, all from the convenience of Personal Internet or Mobile Banking.
  • Updated internal transfer functionality for business users, removing previously established transfer limitations.

Enhanced Mobile Banking Experience

  • Both business and personal banking users will share one updated mobile app with expanded features and an improved interface.
  • Internet and Mobile Banking will share most of the same functionality and features, giving you the ability to control your finances anywhere, any time and with the technology you prefer.

 

IMPORTANT DATES AND TASKS

As we prepare for this digital banking upgrade, there will be system downtime to be aware of and other steps to take to ensure a smooth transition to our new platform.

Before September 18

  • All Users:
    • Please make sure you know your login credentials. You’ll need them to access the new platform and reestablish fingerprint and facial recognition if you choose to use them.
    • Make sure your contact information is updated. Personal Banking users can access this through their Profile. Business Banking users can contact their local branch to make any updates.
    • Make note of the mobile alerts you have setup. Mobile push alerts will not be transferred to the new system.
  • Wire Users:
    • Wire history will not be transferred to the new system. Be sure to record any important details from previous wires before September 18.
  • Business Bill Pay Users:
  • Business ACH Originators:
    • ACH history will not be transferred to the new system. Prepare by downloading ACH history you would like to retain for your records and save files you’d like transferred as templates before September 18th. File templates established in our existing system will be transferred to the new system.
  • Quicken / QuickBooks Users:

Between September 19-21

  • Personal Banking Users:
    • Personal Internet and Mobile Banking will have view only access and transactions will be disabled. Existing Bill Pay payments will still continue to process.
  • Business Banking Users:
    • Business Internet and Mobile Banking services, including ACH origination and Bill Pay services, will be disabled until September 21.

On or After September 21 (New platform is live!)

  • All Users:
    • Log into Internet and Mobile Banking using your current User ID and Password. Some users may be prompted to update their User ID if it is less than 8 characters or other username requirements need to be met. If you have any difficulty accessing your profile, please contact your local branch for assistance.
    • Set up account alerts. Remember, previously existing alerts will need to be set up again.
  • Business ACH Originators:
    • After September 21, ACH users will need to reinitiate their file templates.
  • Personal Mobile Banking Users:
    • Open your Personal Mobile Banking app to be directed to download the updated version.
    • Reestablish your preferred card controls and alerts that were not transferred into the new system.
  • Business Mobile Banking Users:
    • Download the updated app from your device’s app store by searching “First National Bank Fulda” or through the links below.  Once the updated app is downloaded, you can delete the old version.

  • Business Banking/DigiPass Soft Token Users:
    • We’ll be using a new FI Digipass App (iPhone) and Digipass App (Android) in the new system. Before your first login to the new system, please download the new Digipass app listed below and ensure the previous app has been removed from your device.

FAQ

At First National Bank, we understand life is busy and convenience is of utmost importance. With this in mind, our new digital banking platform will offer seamless banking solutions built for the way you want to bank, whether you are at home or on the go.

The upgrade will take place on September 21. There are several important steps to complete before September 18, as noted above. Personal Banking, Business Banking, ACH, Bill Pay, and Wire users should refer to this list to know how their access will be impacted.

Most of your account details will be saved and ready for you to use. This includes transaction history, Personal Banking Bill Pay payee information, scheduled payments and internal transfers, as well as eStatement settings.

For some businesses, Bill Pay history will not be transferred to the new platform. Prepare by downloading your Bill Pay payees and payment information before September 18.  Business Bill Pay will be available when you access our new system using a browser on September 21.

Mobile push alerts and mobile card controls will not transfer to the new system. Please make note of or save this information for your records prior to September 18. These settings will need to be set up again once the new system is live.

Yes, we will be launching an updated Mobile Banking app as part of the upgrade. This will be available for download on September 21.

You can access the new Mobile Banking app in two ways:

  1. Through your existing Personal Mobile Banking app
    Open our current Personal Mobile Banking app and you will be redirected to update your Mobile Banking app. Once downloaded, you can log in with your existing User ID and Password.
  2. Direct Download – Required for customers who use Business Mobile Banking
    Download the updated app from your device’s app store by searching “First National Bank Fulda” or through the links below.  Once the updated app is downloaded, you can delete the old version.

Some users may be prompted to update their User ID if it is less than 8 characters or other username requirements need to be met. If you have any difficulty accessing your profile, please contact your local branch for assistance.

Upon your first login you will have the option to select a text, phone call or email with a one-time passcode to verify your identity. You will simply enter this passcode into the system and submit to securely log in.

If you utilize fingerprints or facial recognition to access mobile banking, you will need to be sure you know your User ID and Password prior to our go-live date. You will be required to enter these within the new system the first time you log in.

After you have logged in, you can reestablish your fingerprints or facial recognition for future logins.

If you are unsure of your User ID, please contact your local branch for assistance.

If you are unsure of your Password, you can easily reset it by selecting “Forgot Password” from the Internet Banking login screen and following the on-screen prompts.

Yes! It is very important that we have your current phone number and email address. Personal Banking users can verify and make any changes under their Profile.  Business Banking users should contact their local branch with any changes.

Also, mobile push alerts and mobile card controls will not transfer to the new system. You will need to make note of or save this information for your records prior to September 18.

Please refer to the Important Dates and Tasks above for additional items to be aware of before the upgrade.

You will need to reestablish any mobile push alerts, mobile card controls, had set up in the previous system as this information did not transfer.

Please note, while your reoccurring internal transfers will be available within the new system if you would like to make edits to these you will need to set up the transfer again and delete the old one. Business users who use soft tokens from DigiPass for ACH and wire origination will need to download a new Digipass app.

 

If you use Quicken or QuickBooks with your business accounts, please download and save all transaction history from the current system before September 18.

On or after September 21, you will need to disconnect your existing connection and reconnect to our new digital banking platform.
