Routing numbers (also known as ABA or routing transit numbers) are codes used to identify your bank in a transaction. It’s similar to an electronic address for your accounts. Your routing number helps banks and businesses locate your account so they can transfer money in and out.

You can find the routing number at the bottom of your checks. The ABA Routing Number is the left-most number, followed by your account number, and then by the number of the check.
